About Rene Huey-Lipton
Rene Huey-Lipton has spent her career branching out as opposed to moving up—gathering the knowledge and experiences she needed to become the type of teammate, founder, dreamer/doer she wanted to be. The result is a highly empathetic powerhouse of insights and ideas who loves to dig in, ask ‘what if’ and get shit done. Over the course of her career, she's worked with and learned from the best in behavioral economics, human centered design and cultural codification--not to mention storytelling in all forms--making her an incredible asset from brand articulation through the creative process and into product innovation. Having worked at GSD&M, FCB, BrainJuicer and sparks & honey, on brands such as Southwest Airlines, Coke, Puma, GM, McDonald’s, ABInBev and P&G, she now is the founder of The DAME Collective, which has three offerings--a strategic and creative consultancy, a presence/voice finding consultancy and a globally-fed all-female job site that matches women over 40 with the companies that need them. Overall, Rene is an all-consuming reader, an arch-nemesis to bullshit and a storyteller who wants desperately to be a cross between Ani Albers and Mark Rothko--basically a moody, abstract fiber artist. She lives with her language-poet husband who plays the Theremin way too much and a dog named after the god particle.
